Our Zoo Field site is going to be an amazing hub of activity as part of the ! And especially excited that Dartmoor Zoo will be coming!
Please get in touch if you can help us for a few hours on Saturday or can you help on Thursday at our regular session helping us to get ready 11 - 3pm.

On Saturday will be setting up from 9am.
We will be doing welly wanging so could do with some help with that!
Tours of the composting - and if you have any questions about the Plymouth City Council Food Waste collections they will be there.

Join us on Saturday 20 June from 10am to 3pm at Central Park for a day packed with free, fun and eco-friendly activities for all ages 💚

🚶‍♀️ What to expect:
🌱 Hands-on activities with local organisations, such as crafts, games & challenges
🚲 Try cycling activities, guided rides & sustainable travel ideas
🌊 Explore marine life, energy, rivers & nature through interactive stalls
📝 Take part in creative activities like poetry, crafts & design
🎯 Collect stamps as you go around the trail

🎒 What to bring:
✔️ Comfortable clothes & shoes for walking
✔️ Water bottle & sunscreen
✔️ Your curiosity to explore and get involved!

Start at Central Park and look out for Big Green Trail flags to guide you
🚌 Travel sustainably:
✅ Walk, wheel or cycle
✅ Hop on FREE trail transport or try an e-bike
✅ Use public transport where possible

It is an honour to be helping to host the networking event tomorrow evening and taking everyone on a guided walk through the Family Tree Field and Zoo Field - we will of course be stopping by the composting are!

We are at Flavour Fest all weekend by the music stage

Underway at 2026 in City Centre. We are sharing a gazebo with the Plymouth City Council and Recycling team. Our display and activities feature Generous Earth Community Composting and the project, alongside our wider Sustainable Food Places activities. Find us near the live music stage in the paved space outside the Civic Centre. . June newsletter - Lots happening - including this TODAY - volunteering at Zoo Field from 2pm till 6 followed by special visit from Sustainable South Hams composting enthusiasts!

Last week it was really cold - this week really hot! As well as this being challenging for us, nature is having to adapt to the extremes in temperature and water levels We can help by composting, mulching and using water wisely. Come to one of our events to find out how you can make a difference.
