Right Price PVCu Limited is looking for committed and enthusiastic individuals to join their team as Fenestration Installers / Window Fitters.

About us:

Right Price is one of the South West’s largest manufacturer, supplier and installer of windows and doors. We are an independent, family-run business, manufacturing high quality items at our Plymouth factory, and installing across the South West region for Commercial projects and New Build sites.

The Role:

Experience in a similar role would be preferable, however the successful applicant can be given full training on how to fit a variety of windows and doors.
Training will be given on correct Installation methods and relevant building regulations, as well as Health and Safety.
The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to work on large sites, for some of the UK’s largest House Builders.
You will be using a variety of different tools, including hand and power tools.

Requirements:

Driving license is essential.
CSCS card would be preferred but we can help to arrange this.

About us:
Right Price is one of the South West’s largest manufacturer, supplier and installer of windows and doors. We are an independent, family-run business, manufacturing high quality items across the South west region in the Commercial, New Build and Domestic sector.

The Apprentices Role:
• The successful applicants will be working within the installation team.
• The candidate will be paired up with an experienced installer, and given full training on how to fit a variety of windows and doors.
• Training will be given on correct installation methods which is in-line with building regulations, as well as Health and Safety regulations.
• The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to work on large sites, for some of the UK’s largest house builders.
• The role offers great opportunity for progression, alongside training to become a qualified Installer.
• You will be using a variety of different tools, including hand and power tools.

The Apprenticeship Training:
• The role will be working towards the qualification of - Level 2 Fenestration Installer.
• Most aspects of training will be delivered on-site, and regular site visits from the assessor will be carried out, to guide the candidate successfully through the apprenticeship programme.
• The candidate will also be supported to achieve Emergency First Aid and a Health and Safety Certificate, along with Internet Safety and Safeguarding.
• Support and training will be given to complete the ‘CSCS test’, in order to gain a CSCS Card which required to work on site.
• On completion of your Level 2 Apprenticeship, Right Price will look to support the right candidates to become fully-qualified installers and stay on with the company as key members of the team.

Introducing Our Latest Fire Safety Solution...

We now manufacture the latest technology window frame solution which automatically opens to expel smoke in the event of a fire.

The new system works by connecting an actuator to the window’s frame so that the window opens in the presence of smoke.

All multiple occupancy buildings above three stories must have automated environmental and smoke ventilation capabilities to comply with the strict fire safety rules in part B of Building Regulations 2010.

The installation of our new solar panels has begun! ☀️

From now on, 78 solar panels will contribute to our aims in becoming carbon neutral.

By changing all lights to LEDs, upgrading machinery in the factory, and changing shift times, we’ve already cut our carbon emissions by 20%. Now, with the panels, we will be able to reduce our consumption by another 30%, halving our carbon emissions compared to previous years. We also ensure that the rest of our energy is powered from 100% renewable energy sources 🌞💨🍃🌎

Big day today as we finally say goodbye to Kay Close, Plympton and move the last few items into our new home in Estover🎉
It has been a long seven weeks from start to finish, moving all the machinery, stock and offices as well as renovating both the old and new premises!
A huge thanks to the great Right Price team, and everyone involved who have made this possible. We are looking forward to a bright future with more space for the business to grow.
Thanks also to all our customers for your understanding during this time, and we look forward to inviting you to our open day soon (details to follow) 😁
