Here’s a before and after from a recent kitchen transformation we’ve completed 🔨

The previous layout didn’t work for the homeowners, so we opened the space up to create a more sociable and usable kitchen diner. This is the finished result 👌

Kitchen / Dining Extension ✅

We removed the old conservatory extension because it was impossible to regulate the temperature properly. In the summer it was far too hot to enjoy, and in the winter you’d need a jacket just to sit in there!

We’ve replaced it with a fully insulated, timber-framed extension that blends seamlessly with the rest of the house. It’s now a comfortable, usable space all year round — warm in winter and cool in summer.

✅ Stripped and fitted breathable membrane and new treated battens on main roof area, then refitted existing tiles
✅ Installed new fascia boards soffit and guttering throughout
✅ Fitted new composite cladding
✅ Hacked off and rendered bottom half of the property
✅ Supplied and fitted new front door and glass side panels

Tongue & Groove Panelling & Ledge and brace Doors 🚪

Installed new tongue and groove panelling with a hidden service door to keep everything neat and seamless. Ledge and brace doors were also fitted to match the existing style, keeping the character of this old cottage while adding a clean new finish.
