We’ve had a good summer here at Tech Surveys & Ocean City EPC nice and busy. Having the 3 assessors to cover the domestic and commercial EPCs, floor plans and Legionella risk assessments has been great for our existing clients and new ones as the lead time is down. We’re still able to give lots of advise to clients concerned with the government changes that seem to change regularly. There is big changes coming with regards to how we up load the data into the software which in turn has an impact to the rating. We will keep ourselves up to date with the new legislations and keep you posted on what’s happening and when. 2030 is still a big date for change in the EPC world.

Our season begins this Sunday away to Plympton Rovers.

The lads have had a strong pre-season and are raring to go.

Looking forward to what they achieve with The Athenaem theatre a great venue for bands, local drama groups and community events. Glad to see it coming back to life and history being preserved. Some really good news today for commercial landlords, what was going to be a struggle to get a lot of properties to a C by 2030 may have now changed. Under a revised proposal 1000 sqm or more to meet a B by 2031 where cost effective, below 1000 sqm will continue to be subject to the current rating of an E. The Government will publish its formal response in due course.

Some of you may have met Jasmine but she’s mainly working from home taking your calls and emails, and making sure our assessors know where they are supposed to be. Jasmine is the voice behind the phone calls, booking in jobs, dealing with complaints, and more demanding, dealing with her husband Mick.
As an artist, in her spare time Jasmine likes to paint and go for sunny walks to sketch her inspiration. Spending time with her pets, often seen on Tech Surveys page and her family.

Here’s the lovely Jacqui, who a lot of you will already know as she has been working in the energy industry for the many years, and for many years Jacqui’s number has been top of the list to give to clients we couldn’t get to in time, so it seemed obvious to work together to ease the work load. Meet the team: Jacqui Donaghy - Director of Ocean City EPC
Jacqui has 18 years of experience in the housing industry, specialising mainly In Domestic EPC's, but also Commercial EPC's, -floor Plans and is Retro Fit qualified.
Jacqui has a banking background, working for 20 years, initially for the Bristol & West, then latterly the Bank of Ireland as a Business Development Manager covering the South West for the processing of residential mortgages.
when Jacqui isn't working she is usually driving to and watching her Son's football matches.
