Most people would have ripped this garden out and started building. We did something different. We designed every detail first.

Before a single paving slab was laid or a single plant went into the ground, we wanted to understand exactly how this space would feel when someone stepped outside.

The original garden lacked purpose, structure, and somewhere to truly enjoy being outdoors. Our design completely reimagined the space around how the clients wanted to live.

A luxury pergola became the centrepiece, creating shelter, atmosphere, and a destination within the garden. Beneath it, we introduced a floating seating area designed to feel light, contemporary, and inviting. A beautiful bistro set creates the perfect spot for morning coffees, evening drinks, and everything in between.

To soften the space, we developed a layered planting scheme featuring elegant hydrangeas, striking lupins, and evergreen planting that will provide colour, texture, and structure throughout the seasons. New rendered walls help create a clean, timeless backdrop while the lighting plan has been carefully considered to bring the entire garden to life after dark.

The goal was never just to create a garden.

It was to create an experience.

A place to unwind after work. A place to host family and friends. A place that feels like an extension of the home.

And this design is only the beginning. The transformation is about to get exciting. 🌿✨

Most people will never notice these gravel grids once the garden is finished, but they play a huge role in how the space performs for years to come.

Today we are cutting and installing gravel grids throughout this flower garden before the gravel goes down. It might not be the glamorous part of a garden transformation, but it is one of the smartest investments you can make in areas that will see regular foot traffic.

Without them, gravel naturally shifts, moves, and creates ruts over time. Wheelbarrows become harder to push, pathways become uneven, and the whole area starts looking tired much quicker than it should.

These grids lock everything together.

They create a stable foundation beneath the gravel, helping distribute weight evenly while keeping the surface looking clean and consistent. Whether it is people walking through the garden every day, moving pots around, or transporting materials with wheelbarrows, the gravel stays exactly where it should.

For this garden, it was a no brainer.

The greenhouse will become a destination within the space, meaning these pathways will see plenty of use throughout the seasons. We wanted to make sure the garden not only looks beautiful on day one but continues performing properly for years to come.

The best gardens are not built around shortcuts.

They are built around the details nobody sees but everybody benefits from. 🌿

This garden is a perfect example of why design matters so much.

When we first arrived, the entire garden was sloping and felt far smaller than it actually was. The property itself was undergoing a stunning renovation, but the outdoor space was not doing it justice. The levels were awkward, the layout felt disconnected, and there was very little usable space for our client to enjoy.

So we completely reworked the garden from the ground up.

By carefully managing the levels and selecting materials that complemented the architecture of the house, we were able to create a space that feels significantly larger, cleaner, and more inviting. The lighter tones, generous entertaining areas, and seamless flow between the house and garden have completely transformed how the space feels.

Now the garden feels like a natural extension of this phenomenal property.

One of my favourite parts of this project is hearing how our client actually uses the space today. Summer evenings with a glass of wine beneath the pergola. Time spent tending to the planting. Family and friends gathered around for barbecues and long afternoons outdoors.

That is what great garden design should do.

Not just improve how a garden looks, but improve how people live.

The garden now feels bigger, more functional, and far more connected to the home. Most importantly, it has become a place our client genuinely loves spending time in, and that is always the ultimate goal. 🌿🍷☀️

This garden room has completely changed the way our client works from home.

What used to be an unused area of the garden has now become a bespoke office space designed around focus, creativity, and separation from everyday distractions. And the biggest compliment we could hear was him telling us his productivity levels have more than doubled since using the space.

That is powerful.

This was not a straightforward build either. Every part of this garden room had to be carefully crafted around a curve, which made the structure incredibly intricate to build properly. Precision mattered on every detail. The lines, cladding, framework, and finish all had to flow perfectly together to create that seamless contemporary look.

But that extra attention is exactly what makes bespoke builds stand out.

The finished result feels calm, premium, and completely separate from the house while still feeling connected to the garden around it.

A space to think clearly.
A space to work productively.
A space built around lifestyle.

This is why outdoor spaces should never be underestimated.

Everyone wants porcelain… until it’s time to cut it.

This is where most jobs fall apart. One bad cut, one chip, one rushed move and you’ve just turned premium material into expensive waste. There’s no hiding with porcelain. It exposes everything, your skill, your patience, your standards.

Watch closely. This isn’t just cutting a slab, this is control. Clean lines, no breakouts, no panic. The difference is in the prep, the blade, the pressure, and knowing exactly how the material reacts.

Anyone can lay slabs. Not everyone can handle porcelain properly.

Get this right… and the whole job levels up.

Loving how this area is starting to come together now. These tiles work perfectly in the space and completely change the feel of the garden already. Clean lines, soft tones, and a finish that feels properly high end without trying too hard.

We are currently installing the edging planks around the perimeter, and this is where the details start making a massive difference. There will be a lighting strip running through the edging, which is going to give the whole space an incredible glow in the evenings and really define the layout once everything is complete.

This is the part people do not always see, but it is what creates that finished luxury feel in the end. Proper groundwork, proper detailing, and taking the time to get every line right.

These are the kind of features that turn a standard patio into a space people actually want to spend time in.

This part of the garden used to be completely lifeless.

A forgotten corner with no atmosphere, no purpose, and nowhere people actually wanted to spend time. Most homeowners have that one dead space outside. It becomes wasted ground that never gets used properly throughout the year.

Now this space has completely transformed the way our clients live at home.

We designed and built this outdoor kitchen area to become the social heart of the garden. Somewhere friends gather late into the evening. Somewhere family comes together around food, drinks, laughter, and real conversations. The outdoor kitchen, contemporary finishes, warm textures, and lighting all work together to create an experience, not just a garden.

And that is the difference.

Anybody can install materials.

But creating a feeling takes vision.

Our clients absolutely love hosting, cooking outdoors, and making memories with the people closest to them, so every part of this build was designed around that lifestyle. From the layout to the seating areas to the atmosphere at night, everything had intention behind it.

Now instead of ignoring this part of the garden, it has become the place everybody naturally walks towards.

That is what powerful garden design should do.

Hearing James say he absolutely loves this space is exactly why we do what we do.

This garden used to be somewhere they barely spent time in. No atmosphere, no comfort, nowhere that truly invited you outside to slow down and enjoy the space. Now it has completely changed the feeling of their home.

The seating area has become the heart of the garden. Somewhere to sit in the sunshine with a coffee in the morning, host friends in the evening, or simply switch off after long days. This pergola is going to completely change the way our clients use this garden.

The property already had beautiful character and mature surroundings, so the goal was never to fight against that. We wanted the new design to feel like it belonged here naturally while still bringing a modern luxury feel into the space. The dark contemporary pergola creates structure, shelter, and atmosphere all in one, while the hot tub underneath becomes the focal point of the entire garden.

Just imagine winter evenings with the lights glowing above, steam rising from the hot tub, a drink in hand, completely switched off from the outside world for a few hours.

That is what this is really about.

Not just materials. Not just construction. Creating moments people remember.

Summer nights with family. Hosting friends late into the evening. Escaping stressful days without even leaving your own home.

A garden should not just look good.

It should make you feel something the second you step into it.

People see the finished gardens online.

What they do not see is the freezing mornings, the rain soaking through your clothes, the mud, the pressure, the delays, the constant problem solving, and still showing up every single day to deliver the vision.

In the UK the weather changes constantly. One week it is blazing hot. The next it is pouring rain. Then freezing temperatures hit. But the standard still has to stay high regardless. That is the reality of this industry.

And on top of that, social media gives everyone an opinion.

People online will pick apart your work without ever understanding the planning, the process, the challenges, or the craftsmanship behind it. Negative comments come with putting your work out there publicly. That is part of the game now.

But we stay in our own lane.

We focus on improving, creating better spaces, building a stronger team, and delivering gardens our clients genuinely love living in.

Because at the end of the day, opinions online do not build gardens.

Consistency does.

Discipline does.

Turning up when conditions are against you does.

And no matter what gets thrown at us, we keep moving forward.
