The Counting House, Pontefract

Heritage Joiners has added a dedicated case study covering specialist joinery and carpentry work carried out as part of the restoration of The Counting House in Pontefract.

The work included solid oak staircases, a solid oak front door and frame, beam repair work, internal oak details, and restoration carpentry within one of the town’s oldest buildings.

The completed project later received the Heritage Award at Pontefract Civic Society’s 2025 Design Awards.
