Chippy Lane Express – Our Very Own DIY SOS Special! 🔨🚚
When the client called and asked if we thought we could complete an entire shop refit in just 48 hours, our first thought was, "Has someone accidentally rung the TV producers?" 😅
But after a quick chat, a strong coffee, and what may or may not have been a moment of madness, we accepted the challenge!
🕡 Started: Tuesday, 6:30am
🕡 Finished: Wednesday, 6:30pm
That's right – we didn't just finish on time, we smashed it with 12 hours to spare!
This one genuinely felt like a DIY SOS project. The only things missing were Nick Knowles, a camera crew, and someone shouting, "Move that bus!" at the end.
Over the 36 hours, there were plenty of challenges, a few last-minute curveballs, and enough tea and coffee consumed to keep a small village awake. But the team absolutely nailed it, screwed down the details, and refused to let anything come loose.
A huge shout-out to everyone involved. The effort, teamwork, and determination shown on this project were incredible. When the pressure was on, the team didn't just step up – they practically rebuilt the staircase while they were at it!

For now, the tools are down, the batteries are flat, and we're off to enjoy a well-earned rest before someone else rings asking if we can do the impossible by Friday!
