A busy, Poole-based, hot tub hire company is looking for part-time delivery drivers covering the Dorset/Hampshire area. Employment is offered on a part-time basis at a rate of £9 per hour. You will be provided with a van and all the equipment/training necessary to fulfil the role. Hours will vary from 10-25 p/w.
The basic responsibilities of the job are as follows:
Deliver hire equipment from our base in Poole to within 1hr 30 drive. We cover all BH postcodes and most of DT/SO. The majority of your time will be spent behind the wheel delivering our equipment to customers.
You will also be responsible for safe installation of the equipment. All of our hot tubs are inflatable, so the successful candidate will be required to unload the equipment from the van, install it safely and provide basic instructions to the customer in regards to maintenance. Full training and initial supervision will be given until we both feel you are confident to take on the responsibilities alone.
You will be partly responsible for maintaining the equipment at a basic level. We assume all responsibility for the equipment’s functionality, but an important part of the role is deep-cleaning and ensuring each hot tub is sparkling for its next hire.

A people person! We are looking for somebody who is able to positively engage with our customers. Hiring our equipment is an exciting experience for our customers, so we want to ensure that our delivery driver(s) are a key part of that experience.
Punctuality. To keep delivering an excellent service to our customers, we need a candidate who is able to deliver on-time and within agreed timescales.
Flexibility. Our workload varies week-to-week according to how many hires we have and their location. We need a candidate who is able to respond positively to this kind of environment and accept that each week is a new challenge.
Job Requirements:
Ideally, you’ll have some experience of working in a customer facing environment. Whether this is retail, delivery driving in another capacity or anything else you can think of, ideally you will have some evidence of your ability to deliver excellent service.
Commercial driving experience is not essential, but will be beneficial if you have any experience of this in the past. We do, however, require that you hold a full UK driving license for at least two years with no more than 6 endorsement points.
