🔧 When someone says, “Have you got a big spanner?”…
…we didn’t realise they meant this big 😂

Not ours — just passing through —
but we couldn’t resist admiring the size of them 👀

You don’t “grab” these…
you commit to them.

Pretty sure you need a risk assessment, steel toe caps and a packed lunch just to lift one 💪😅
We’ll stick to fixing the plant, trailers and small tools…
but fair play to whoever’s swinging these around 👏

🚐 Well… that escalated quickly.

The boss’s van picked a fight with a metal gate.

The gate won.

Bit of panel damage.
Bit of light damage.
Bit of ego damage.

But she’s already back on the road like nothing ever happened 💪

That’s the thing about being hands-on —
when your own kit gets hurt, you don’t sulk…
you fix it and crack on 🔧

No drama.
No excuses.
Just sorted.

🚧 Trailer Repairs & Modifications Completed 🚧

This trailer came into the workshop for repairs and a few modifications to improve safety, security and usability on site.

🔧 Work carried out included:
✔️ Brake repairs
✔️ 2x new handbrake cables
✔️ Energy store fitted at handle
✔️ New locking hitch supplied & fitted (with keys)
✔️ 2x rubber handle clamps fitted to front rail

Finished off with a general inspection to make sure everything is working as it should.

The boss heads out in a hurry to get to a job, hoping to miss the rain…
only to leave his keys at work 🔑

Found by one of our fitters, who saved the day 😉

Just proof that even when the boss is hands-on and in the thick of it, he’s still only human — and fair game for a bit of banter 😅

Keys recovered. Boss humbled and he didn’t miss the rain. ☔️😂
Work carried on as normal 👍

(He’s been reminded. He’s laughed. He won’t live it down… and it will definitely happen again 😂)
