Hiring - Experienced Carpenter/Joiner Team Leader, Minimum 10+ Years Experience
We are looking to hire a skilled carpenter with knowledge of various carpentry techniques to fulfil the services within our business. You will be responsible for layout, installation, repairing, finishing various garden room structures, decking, fencing installations. Other duties will include managing a small team whilst onsite.
Your job will entail working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional installations.
Successful candidate must have an eye for detail.
The ideal candidate will also have good knowledge of wood properties and other carpentry materials. Working with little supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential.
A successful applicant should be hardworking, reliable, and have good communication and organizational skills. You must have completed an apprenticeship in carpentry or have equivalent experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
Ability to lead on installation projects with the support from management.
Assisting management with structural design, planning, layout, and installation.
Reading and interpreting designs to meet specifications.
Liaising with clients, suppliers and other tradesmen
Designing and installing Wood/Composite/Aluminium decking, fencing, Garden Rooms & Balustrades Systems.
Ability to assess the quality of workmanship and materials.
Ability to operate & maintain tools, machines, and other equipment.
Compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.
Project Lead with support from management.
Manage small team.
Develop Others.
Requirements:
Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or a minimum of 10 year’s experience as a Senior-level carpenter/Joiner.
Additional certification may be required.
CSCS Card - Advantageous.
IOSH Certificate Advantageous.
Full clean Driving Licence.
Track work history.
Good communication skills.
Likely candidate to have managerial/team leader experience, able to manage a small team.
Attention to detail.
Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination.

Salary: £34,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
