Wow, I can't believe it's this time already ! This year has flown by. As always I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of those who have chosen to use my services over the past year and those who constantly recommend me to others who need a plumber. You really are appreciated. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas time !!

New life breathed into this tired cloakroom. The customer wanted a fresher brighter look with new appliances and a WC that worked! New units fitted with storage and new comfort height pan. New worktop fitted and new slimline basin vanity unit and mixer taps. New flooring to finish. Also replaced the tiles that needed to come off to remove the old worktop. The customer will finish the border tiling himself

And another bathroom renovation recently carried out but not enough time to showcase until now !
This bathroom renovation took place last month. This bathroom felt cramped with its layout and low level cistern WC which wouldn't allow the door to fully open ! To create more space and accessibility for washing these customers wanted the bathtub removed and a shower area instead. By relocating the appliances I could create more space and help with mobility. The new offset quadrant shower tray and enclosure was relocated to where the original basin was and the basin to where the bath was . The WC was turned 90 degrees with a WC unit and back to wall pan replacing the old low level cistern WC. The new towel rail was fitted on the opposite wall. The main challenges here were very low water pressure converting the old galvanized steel pipe to copper. The new shower are now shows a thermostatic bar shower with access grab rails and shower seat. A white gloss basin vanity unit with mixer taps and storage and medicine cabinet fitted above. A chrome heated towel rail sits under the window and the white gloss WC unit and pan finish the appliances. The floor was reboarded and covered with an adhesive stuck vinyl flooring. Wall tiling in a light beige covers the shower wet area and then half height around the rest of the room. This refurb has given the customers much more space in which to access and use their bathroom to it's fullest.

More catch-up !
A customer had mentioned the difficulty they were having accessing their bathtub and wanted a new walk in bathtub installed.
The old bath, taps and shower were was removed and this new walk in/ sit down bathtub was installed allowing them easier access to enjoy a soak in the tub!

A bit of a catch up needed ! This bathroom renovation was carried out in February but I forgot to post it !
This bathroom was originally a separate bathroom and WC which the customer wanted combined to create a larger bathroom. The centre wall was knocked down and all old appliances removed. All the old wall tiles and flooring was removed and the original bathroom door boarded over.
The walls were tiled in a light green gloss metro tile which the customer wanted in straight lines as opposed to the standard brick block finish. These were offset with a dark grey grout. New plumbing for bathtub, thermostatic dual outlet shower, basin , WC and heated towel rail was installed.
New bathtub fitted with shower and shower screen. New drawer basin vanity unit with basin and mixer taps and concealed cistern WC. New chrome heated towel rail were old doorway was located . The ceiling was lowered to accommodate new downlighting.
The shower, bath taps and basin taps were in brushed brass finish.
Another total transformation !

Really pleased to show the latest completed bathroom renovation undertaken. It certainly threw up a few challenges along the way but challenges are always expected and always overcome.
The bathroom was completely stripped back to bare brick as the old sand and lime plaster had perished. All old appliances, wall tiles and flooring were removed. All walls drylined and the ceiling overboarded for a full re-plaster. The bathroom now shows part tiling with centre feature around the bath and half height tiling behind the basin. New appliances include oversize bathtub, mixer taps and thermostatic bar mixer shower with a large bi-folding shower screen. The basin vanity unit with basin sink into the worktop has new mixer taps, storage cupboard and LED vanity unit situated above. The WC has a concealed cistern with back to wall pan and storage either side. New Karndean flooring in a dark grey compliments the lighter grey wall tiles. The ceiling was painted in white sheen and the walls in a soft Jade White.
Many thanks to JL Electrical for the installation of new downlighting with dimmer switch located in the landing.
All tiling, flooring and installation work carried out by Lakeside Plumbing Services.
A total transformation creating a bathroom that now can be enjoyed by the customers.

Latest bathroom renovation carried out and finished by Lakeside Plumbing Services.
The old bathroom, tiles and flooring was removed to show significant issues with most of the walls and a rotten floor. All of this replaced with new drywall and floorboards before the new appliances were installed .
New wall tiles hung in gloss white with a contrast anthracite grout, set in brick style.
New appliances included bathtub, Mira power shower, bath taps, shower screen, WC and basin unit, with back to wall pan and counter sunk basin with black taps and wall hung towel radiator. The units in a matt finish traditional green compliment the black and white theme of the bathroom. New anthracite lvt flooring finishes the bathroom . New downlighting, relocation of light switch and wiring for power shower courtesy ,again , of JL Electrical.
