It’s been a busy few weeks!
Apologies for the lack of updates – with the summer weather finally kicking in and the sun staying out longer, I’ve been working later on the tools and feeling it by the time I get home!

Hi everyone,

It’s been a really busy few weeks! Between being out on the tools, managing quotes, and trying to stay on top of invoicing, things have slipped a little on the paperwork side.

With half-term madness and the lighter evenings meaning later finishes on site, I’ve just fallen a bit behind. I’ve spent today catching up and hopefully I’ve now responded to everyone.

Day 2 – Driveway Transformation in Progress!

All the old stone has been taken up and scraped down to the sub-base, making way for a fresh new look. Today, we had the grab lorry on-site to clear everything away, leaving us with a clean slate.

Next up—the finishing touch! Our customer has chosen a 20mm gravel top, which will give the driveway a sleek and tidy look. Stay tuned for the final results—this one’s going to be a beauty!

A quarter of the year gone already—where does the time go?

We’ve been flat out since the start of the year, taking on all sorts of projects. From lifting and relaying a poorly installed porcelain patio (wrong falls, no SBR, and a mix more like sand than cement) to completing fencing jobs, subcontracting for other companies, and working on some fantastic projects in the BCP area. We’ve also just finished a full re-point, fascia softening, and guttering job in Parkstone—more on that soon!

With the sun finally making an appearance, now’s the time to start thinking about getting your garden ready. Make sure you choose the right tradesmen for the job—because if you pay peanuts, you get monkeys! It’s really disheartening to have to rip up work that’s been done incorrectly and poorly, only to charge the customer again—often costing them double or even triple what it should have in the first place.

🌞 Lovely Day for Work! 🌞

After a cold day off yesterday (too chilly for porcelain laying!), we were back at it today with some fence repairs in the Broadstone area. 🛠️

🔨 We fitted two spurs to the posts to re-plumb and strengthen them, and also completed a small temporary repair on a cracked post in the front garden.
