Here's a brief overview of the roles:

Joiner

Skilled Joiner required to manufacture and assemble bespoke timber items. Joinery projects range from Windows and Doors to Staircases and Shop refurbs.
Must have a basic knowledge of woodwork and machinery.
Applicants must also own basic hand tools.
Training will be provided but experience would be preferred.
Hourly Rate of £12.00 - £16.00 depending on experience

Joiner/Fitter.

Role will consist of half workshop manufacturing and half site fitting.
Must have a basic knowledge of woodwork and machinery.
Applicant must also own basic hand tools and have a full UK driving license
Training will be provided but experience would be preferred.
Hourly Rate of £12.00 - £16.00 depending on experience

MEH were tasked in filling a disused service pit with concrete to bring the unit back up to it's full potential for the new tenants.

102m3 of concrete was poured to fill the void, can you guess how many truckloads in total?

A service gully walkway in a large shopping centre had been suffering water ingress and corrosion due to the failure of the previously applied waterproofing system.

MEH Construction recommended a Polyurea Spray applied coating.

1) The existing substrate was ground down, all upstands, cracks and minor damage to the substrate were repaired with an epoxy quick drying mortar.

2) The first primer coat was then applied which took approx. 30mins to dry. A second pigmented (red) primer coat was applied to guarantee uniform coverage for the next stage. Whilst this coat was still wet a layer of fine quartz sand was broadcast into the primer to provide a mechanical bond and base for the slip resistant finish.

3) A SIKA supplied Polyurea was then spray applied at 2.5mm thickness which took just 15 seconds to dry. This was followed by a hand applied aliphatic, (UV Resistant) polyurethane topcoat to provide the ware coat for foot traffic.

SIKA's Polyurea comes with a 25-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Another fine refurbishment project completed.

We are super proud of this achievement working in extremely difficult times, managing Covid – 19 risk by working safely within our own micro bubbles throughout the project life cycle. Well done team!

At MEH we love sliding pocket door systems as they look amazing aesthetically and save a lot on space. We will be installing the system throughout the main build. This picture demonstrates it in our client’s outhouse.
