Another front entrance given a fresh new look by RILU Windows & Doors.

We removed the tired, dated white uPVC front door and replaced it with this smart new composite entrance door — completely changing the appearance of the property while adding a big upgrade in security and performance.

🏠 FROM TIRED & LEAKING… TO A ROOF BUILT TO LAST! 💧➡️💪

Another roof transformation completed by RILU Windows & Doors.

This existing flat roof had seen better days, suffering from water ingress and a failed/blown lantern unit. Rather than continuing with temporary repairs, we stripped it back and gave the whole roof a proper long-term upgrade.

The new installation includes:

🔹 One-piece EPDM rubber roofing membrane – no unnecessary joins across the main roof area
🔹 New roof lantern, bringing the natural light back into the room below
🔹 New raised kerbs around the lantern
🔹 New wall flashings and waterproof detailing
🔹 New perimeter and gutter trims for a clean, professional finish
🔹 Fully sealed around all vulnerable junctions and upstands
🔹 A tough, flexible membrane designed to cope with UV, rain, frost and temperature movement
🔹 Very low maintenance compared with many traditional flat-roof systems
🔹 EPDM systems can offer a 50+ year life expectancy when correctly installed and maintained

That tired grey roof has now been transformed into a smart, fully waterproofed black EPDM system, with every important detail around the walls, lantern and roof edges renewed at the same time.

Small Details. Big Difference. 👌🏡

This project proves that you don’t always need a full renovation to completely transform the front of your home.

We supplied and installed a stunning new anthracite grey composite front door with side panels, instantly giving the property a modern, high-end appearance while significantly improving security and thermal efficiency.

To ensure this installation stands the test of time, we used UV-stable products throughout, finished with marine-grade coastal hardware—ideal for Guernsey’s harsh coastal climate and resistant to corrosion from salt air.

We also tackled another issue on the property. The original lower infill panel beneath the front window had buckled over time due to UV exposure, leaving the entrance looking tired. Rather than replacing the entire window, we installed anthracite cladding to the lower section, creating a smart, seamless finish that perfectly complements the new door.

A simple, cost-effective solution that completely refreshed the property’s kerb appeal.

Our team removed two existing external doors, carefully blocked up both openings and professionally rendered them to blend seamlessly with the existing property.

Another beautiful transformation completed here in Guernsey! 🇬🇬

This lovely 1825 property deserved a front door that complemented its character. We replaced an outdated golden oak uPVC door with a stunning new design that’s far more in keeping with the age and style of the home.

The new door features:

🔹 A beautiful duck egg blue exterior
🔹 Elegant Art Deco decorative glass
🔹 Premium black marine-grade hardware, ideal for our island climate
