Great day for a site visit, last week we welcomed year 10 students from Bourne Academy to one of our current NHS projects.

Nice afternoon giving the students some insight in to what happens throughout the delivery of a construction project including roles of various trades, importance of Health and Safety and Project Management.

The RNLI provide such an important service to the UK, which so often goes unnoticed, they are simply there at times of need. Spetisbury Construction Limited have worked with the charity for in excess of 20 years across many locations right across the south coast, giving valuable insight into the complexity of their operation.

One of our team is coming up for retirement shortly and he has played an important role in the delivery of the south coast infrastructure for over 15 years. The Charity took the time to thank him personally for his service and reminded us all of the impacts made.

As part of their message they said:

"The impact of your work completed in 2025 alone helped enable lifeguards to carry out 399,897 preventative actions, respond to 2553 incidents, assist 2830 individuals and ultimately save 16 lives."

It is amazing to see these numbers and gives context to the importance of their work.
