Old Byre conversion from last year. The owners of this building decided to re-purpose it as a traditional bothy. We formed two new window openings using re-claimed stone, built a new chimney and cap, full repoint with lime mortar, and stone cladding to new porch extension.

One of the consolidation phases we have completed at Kilbride Kirk. This involved removing any growth/earth from the masonry, re-building of the wall heads and a selective re-point, using an appropriate lime mortar.

Duties include:
*Mixing Lime mortars
*Assisting stonemasons in their duties
*Keeping the site tidy

Must be someone willing to work outside in all weathers.
Experience not essential.
Good rate of pay.
Own transport is not essential.
