Pay cheap, pay twice… as they say 🤷‍♂️

Funnily enough, this is now the third time this double fire door set on a plant cupboard in a commercial property has had to be installed.

The previous two installations both failed inspection because of poor workmanship and bad quality products and fitting.

When it comes to fire doors, cutting corners is never worth it, they need to be fitted correctly first time, not just to look right, but to meet safety standards and protect lives.

Sometimes the cheapest quote can end up being the most expensive in the long run.

Another job wrapped up a couple of weeks ago 👌

This one was 70m² of flooring, with the downstairs needing self levelling first to get everything spot on before the boards went down.

The prep work is what makes the finished job look right.

Not exactly… but here’s what I did instead 👇

This Golgellau Airbnb had a completely unusable aircraft door so I designed and built a custom canopy entrance to solve the problem and upgrade the look at the same time.

Different job. Same standard.

Another job completed at the Clydach House Renovation Project 🔨

We’ve installed a 6ft high, 42-metre feather edge fence around the full garden perimeter — strong, secure and adds plenty of privacy while keeping a clean, traditional look.

All set out level with solid posts throughout. The garden is now fully enclosed and ready to enjoy.

Shaker style kitchen supplied by Benchmarx, fitted with a central island and finished with compact laminate worktops for a clean, modern look and durability.

Full install including cabinetry, appliance housing, plus a separate matching utility room. A great transformation from a bare shell into a bright, practical family space.

Big project we wrapped up just before the New Year 🔨

✔️ 5 solid black doors
✔️ 4 glazed black doors
✔️ All new door frames fitted throughout
✔️ Acoustic panelling installed downstairs
✔️ 2 custom cupboard doors
✔️ Full skirting & architrave throughout the property
✔️ Full staircase renovation – new false stringers, capping and cladded risers

The black finish completely changed the feel of the house — modern, clean and sharp 👌
