We recently completed the renewal of 12m of feather edge fencing, replacing a worn and unstable boundary with a strong, straight, and professionally finished installation.

2 more jobs done over the weekend 👏

We removed and replaced 8 metres of worn feather edge fencing, improving both strength and appearance.
The old fence was carefully dismantled and cleared before installing new pressure-treated posts and gravel boards for durability. New feather edge boards were then fitted with an even overlap, creating a neat, solid, and weather-resistant finish.
The result is a straight, tidy fence that enhances privacy and will stand the test of time.

We installed approximately 6 metres of feather edge both side of the property on top of an existing wall / side of the garden patio to improve privacy for neighbouring properties.
New timber posts were securely fixed to the wall, creating a strong framework for the fence. Pressure-treated feather edge boards were then fitted with a consistent overlap, forming a solid and durable screen.
The finished fence provides increased privacy while maintaining a clean, tidy appearance that complements the surrounding area.

We recently completed the installation of approximately 57 metres of new feather edge fencing in just 2 days
transforming both the appearance and security of the boundary. The project involved removing the old, worn sections and preparing the existing stone wall to ensure a solid and level base for the new structure.

Timber posts were securely fixed at regular intervals along the full length of the wall, carefully aligned to follow the boundary line and accommodate slight changes in direction at the corner. Treated gravel boards were installed to provide protection from ground moisture and extend the lifespan of the fence. Feather edge boards were then individually fixed, overlapping each one to create a strong, durable, and weather-resistant finish.

Particular attention was given to maintaining a consistent height and clean line throughout, especially along the long run and around the corner section. The result is a neat, uniform fence that enhances privacy while complementing the surrounding properties. All materials used were pressure-treated to ensure longevity and minimal maintenance going forward.

Overall, the installation provides a robust and visually appealing boundary that will stand up well to the elements for years to come.

Garden gate renewed for a loyal returning customer, After years of exposure to rain, sun, and seasonal changes, the garden’s feather edge gate had begun to show its age. The timber boards were weathered and grey, the bottom edges were starting to soften from moisture and the gate collapsed , I decided to renew and restore it, extending its life and improving both appearance and function.

I kept the price to a minimum by using what I could in the van for them as the dog 🐕 kept on escaping

Works Completed – Hall, Stairs, Landing & Front Room

All previously damaged and uneven surfaces were fully prepared, including the application of blue grit bonding agent to ensure optimal adhesion. The front room and hall, stairs, and landing were then professionally plastered to a smooth, high-quality finish by DMC plastering & building , Once fully cured, all newly plastered areas were painted white, leaving a fresh, bright, and uniform appearance throughout. The areas are now fully prepared and ready for final decoration ready for the flooring next week

All woodwork has been fully prepared and finished with a high-quality gloss, leaving a durable and clean finish throughout.
