Before and after on our large GRP refurbishment in Portishead - Some detail pics to come tomorrow. The ‘summer’ weather really made this one a challenge due to the invasive nature of removing the damaged timber substrate but with a bit of careful planning, and hard work we got the building back in the dry 😎

Finally some ☀️, and it’s lasted more than 15 minutes!

Lovely garage and porch rip up these past couple of days in Clevedon. This felt had been down nearly 30 years and had started to fail allowing moisture into the chipboard substrate. Once these boards are wet, it turns to a mess likened to Weetabix, so it was all removed and replaced with an 18mm OSB3 substrate to give it a solid base before a long lasting Sikaplan Single Ply membrane was installed. This roof has another 30 years to enjoy the sunshine now 😄
