So, I fit stoves, I’m also a builder and can pretty much turn my hand to anything. The last couple of weeks I may not have been as responsive to messages as I would normally be but I’ve been pretty busy helping out on the latest DIY SOS Big Build in Southmead, Bristol renovating the children’s play area. It’s nice to give something back if you can

Sweeping your chimney / flue helps prevent the build up of soot that can lead to chimney fires and carbon monoxide poisoning and should be done at least once a year. Just wanted to let people know that even with the increase in restrictions as of Thursday, I am still able to come to your property for fittings, surveys and sweeps. When working in your property I ask that, where possible you are in a seperate room and please don’t be offended if I don’t accept a cup of coffee! I will wear gloves and clean down surfaces I may have been in contact with before I leave.
