Making sure our customers are happy means a lot to us at Somerville Stone , any project you have we will make sure it’s right for you , our customer ordered a stone in Portland stone which struggled with the little lettering with the shells in the stone however after speaking with our client we knew a stone that would work well , so here’s a email from are client saying thank you ……. Hi Charley/Darren.
Just to say a huge thank you for not one, but two signs for my place here on the Dordogne!
Actually the ‘weird colour’ one suited the front so brilliant not to have just chucked it (thank you) and have utilised the other by the front door (spurs me on to get that renovated now!)… which seems to suit it and saves it laying around only to get broken! Have already had admiring looks from neighbours!… très bien et merci beaucoup!

Great honour to be part of the British Battalion , Spain’s International Brigade Memorial Trust for the lost Volunteer’s and those who survived in 1939 . We at Somerville Stone was asked to Replace a worn tired wooden bench for this sunning honed grey granite memorial bench that we designed and then deeply engraved as per approved artwork .

Well been wanting to do this for a while , it didn’t white over as quick as I wanted but left for a sunbath it did cook its self on a Peice of black granite. Hot hot hot memorial stones
