Very high quality of build, and I've been faced with new construction techniques to adapt to. Every day is a school day, and these lads are top notch! 👌

Always take the opportunity to show off new tools, courtesy of CEF in the form of my new tool bag AND a brand spanking drill bit set. I've never been so organised 💯 ⚡️

A customer of mine requested a refurbishment of their property whilst between tenants!

Several new sockets installed and new lighting points allowed for, supported with fire rated clips and to be hidden behind coving following the decorators 🖌🎨

Now to wait for the chases to be filled in, some paint on the walls, and get some power going 😃💡

Correct PPE for this one as the dust, noise and flying debris could of taken me out of action for a spell!

Looking like I turned up in the wild west today

2 separate jobs undertaken by "electrical competent" tradespeople 🤠🐎

1st one has butchered a single gang backbox and the cable containment within the wall to try and squeeze a double socket in its place 🔨

2nd person suffers from limp wrists when connecting up an immersion heater timer unit 🔥

Made both repairs in good time and left the installations in a safe and operational state 💪⚡️

A property will always be the biggest investment you ever make in your lifetime, make sure the people you chose to undertake work within it will carry it out to a high standard and respect your investment 🪙🏠

This fitting has definitely had its day 💡

Following an electrical safety inspection, it was highlighted that most the fittings within the landlords communal area of a block of flats had suffered from a high amount of thermal damage. Not a good situation when this is occurring on the only escape route in the event of a fire 🔎🔥

After safely isolating the supply and ensuring I locked off the circuit, I swapped out the older style flourscent fittings & emergency light, for a more energy efficient and safer LED alternative.

⚡️Each one of the following photos could have been a potential fire or lethal shock if we didn't discover it and repair it in time⚡️

👷 A qualified and competent electrician will never underestimate the importance of ensuring their customers' properties are periodically inspected for electrical safety 👷

‼️🏘 Many people aren't aware that these inspections (provided no remedial action is required) on privately owned properties can be certified as safe for up to 10 years following an inspection, and 5 years for rentals (Satisfactory certificates are mandatory for rental properties!) 🏘‼️
