This one featured traditional brick-style natural stone floor tiles, finished with a classic sand & cement point — keeping that authentic, timeless look while delivering the durability expected on every job.

It’s great to see the lads combining traditional methods with modern standards, producing high-quality results day in, day out.

Detailed curved staircase work completed by the team on a recent project in Sandbanks.

Using 20mm porcelain tiles, this installation required a high level of precision, careful setting out, and expert cutting to achieve a consistent finish across the curves.

This type of work really highlights the skill and experience within our team — delivering quality workmanship even on the more complex elements of a project.

This month marks 35 years of A G Rutter Ltd.

Back in 1991, it all started from a spare bedroom with a single van and a set of tools. Even then, there was a clear vision — to become the best tiling company in the South.

35 years on, with the second generation now fully involved in the business, we are delivering major tiling projects across the region to the highest standards.

It hasn’t been an easy ride — and in construction, it rarely is. The challenges have been constant, but they’ve built our resilience and determination, and we’ve taken them all in our stride.

So what has never changed?

We turn up.
We deliver quality workmanship.
We value our staff.
We do what we say we will do.
We communicate clearly with our clients.
And we build strong, lasting working relationships.

Those principles, set 35 years ago, are still what drive us today.
