We often get asked ‘how do you turn a car park into an arena?’, well the answer is pretty simple as it’s the same as we do for arenas where we are constricted on planning, the ground requires protection or is liable to greater water volumes, the event/location is only temporary or the client requires full water management for a multitude of purposes.
The Equaflow base will therefore provide the foundations of the new arena at NAEC Stoneleigh and the team are starting to prepare for the build.
So what is Equaflow? It’s essentially an environmentally friendly base that is manufactured from recycled materials, Equaflow’s modular design offers excellent adaptability to cope with any terrain with minimal levelling. Suitable for permanent areas but particularly important for temporary arenas or those in protected areas where planning can be an issue, the overlay design ensures there is no long term damage to the existing grassed areas and prevents any high loads from impacting on existing tree roots.
Using Equaflow as a base also means that should you move from your property, you can take your arena with you!
