Attended a callout this morning due to a loss of power and report of flickering lights. The main neutral bar of the consumer unit was burnt out (likely due to a loose connection), the heat from which had burnt a hole through the top of the plastic cover. Replaced with new metal clad consumer unit with individual RCBOs and surge protection.

Having not posted in a very long time, I thought it best that I update the business page. Recently completed garden lodge with external sensor lights. The up/down wall lights have integrated PIR and the recessed lights on the arch are controlled via a recessed PIR, both can be set to be permanently on via internal switches.

Ok, Story time. A customer had an existing light in their kitchen with a large glass shade. During a windy day the door in the kitchen slammed shut and the shade fell on their head. Causing quite a serious head injury😱. Needless to say they were nervous about putting the shade back up (Amazingly the shade had not smashed landing on the customers head had broken its fall). So we were tasked with removing the customers existing light and putting in some modern downlighters.

Some recently installed Philips Hue Floodlights for a customers garden. These lights in particular are easily controlled via a smart device/phone and are fully integrated with Alexa, Apple HomeKit etc. There are literally endless options for light levels and colours to suit any mood.

A little callout tonight, customer had lost some power to downstairs lighting. The majority of the lights were not working. After a little fault finding this little beauty was found. A loose connection had burnt out the connector block. Cabling was made safe, customer will source a new light and we will return to connect.

Welll having not posted in over a year😱 (Shocking I know, no pun intended) I had to share some pictures from a recent job completed for a great customer. New electrical supplies were installed for a hot tub, exterior socket and decking lights. Lighting was controlled via photocell and timeclock. Enabling the lights to switch on at sunset and have a set time for switch off creating a hassle free control of the lighting.

Have to say the new composite decking looked absolutely amazing completed by TJR decking and patios.

Today we were carrying out lighting alterations for a new Shop on Prestatyn High Street. New wiring was installed for display cabinet lighting. Additionally the existing 1200x600 ceiling grid lights have been changed for new LED Panels. These will offer a massive reduction in energy consumption and come with a 5 year warranty. They will essentially pay for themselves🙌.

We Attended a callout today due to the customer having a loss of power to sockets. On inspection it was found that the RCD was tripping when the socket circuit was turned on. We eventually narrowed the fault down to one part of the ring main. Floorboards were lifted and this junction box was found lying on the foundations. Due to the great British summer that we are experiencing at the moment (🌧🌧🌧) the foundations were very damp, water had crept in to the joint. The joint was replaced with maintenance free connectors sealed in a waterproof junction box and cabling was clipped up so that the joint was not in the damp anymore.
