What a journey, and what an incredible space!

We’re extremely proud to have delivered NMITE’s new Centre for Innovation and Future Skills at Blackfriars Campus, bringing Arbor Architects' fantastic design to life.

It has been a pleasure working alongside such a talented local team to create a space that will support people and businesses across Herefordshire for years to come.

We can’t wait to see the Centre open its doors this autumn!

Craftsmanship is often found in the details.

Every piece of joinery in this home was designed and built specifically for the space; from the kitchen and utility through to the wardrobes, bathrooms and entrance hall.

The beauty of bespoke joinery is that it doesn't just look good; it works harder too. Hidden storage, perfectly proportioned cabinetry and carefully considered details all combine to create spaces that are practical, timeless and built to last.

It's always rewarding seeing months of design and craftsmanship come together in a finished home.

One set of keys handed over. One project breaking ground. 🔑➡️🏡

This week perfectly sums up what we do at Firth Construction.

While one project reached completion and was handed over to its owners, work was already underway on the next home.

From the first digger on site to the final clean before handover, every project is the result of teamwork, craftsmanship and attention to detail.

A big thank you to everyone involved in making it happen.

🙌 It’s great to see months of planning, coordination and hard work from the entire project team taking shape on site.

It’s transitioning from a construction site into a building that students will soon be using and enjoying.

Sunlight, shadow, texture, space. ☀️

Great design isn’t just about the structure itself, it’s about how a building feels throughout the day. These moments of natural light completely transform a space and create a real connection between indoors and out.

We love how the dark timber cladding contrasts against today’s blue skies on this project.

Something big is coming…

We’ve secured our space at the NSBRC in Swindon - and we’re going all in.

Not just a stand, we’re creating a full timber frame show home you can actually walk through, experience and get a proper feel for; showcasing the benefit of sustainablility in building.

- Site carpentry
- Site labour

Would consider semi skilled workers, enthusiasm is a must.

It's great to see the prefabricated timber frame for our Hillside project starting to come together by Broadaxe Timber Frames in the factory.

Hillside is a bespoke new home that uses a pre-fab building system to ensure the construction can be quickly assembled on-site with the necessary accuracy to help achieve a high quality build. This pre-fab timber frame system also offers a low carbon build solution with high levels of cellulose insulation by PYC Group and Warmcel Insulation and airtightness using pro clima and products.

The Hillside project is living up to its name.

With its stepped levels and bold layout, it’s got a real Aztec feel to it. This one has definitely been a bit of a head scratcher along the way, but that’s what makes it interesting.

Huge credit to the lads on the groundworks, they’ve done a cracking job shaping this out on a tricky site.

The timber frame has taken a lot of careful design by our sister company, Broadaxe Timber Frames , and the kit is now in production.

This one’s going to be a fun one to erect. Stay tuned…
