Been working on a beautiful slab of spalted beech that has been sat in our yard for a few years, we have quite a lot of spalted beech, some really nice massive pieces, looking forward to seeing what they all look like inside when we slab them all out in a couple of weeks time, in the mean time this piece is the start of a coffee table, started Sanding at 80 grit and worked my way up to 1000 grip, it’s as smooth as glass now, looking forward to liking it up late

A beautiful piece of yew, i felled this tree around 9 years ago in the Lake District, took it back to the mill and split the trunk right down the middle then left it till this week, took a very thin slice off it today and look at the beautiful grain, think it would look awesome as the centre of a dining table with glass either side to make up the width, just love working with beautiful wood like this

Well this has been in the pipe line for quite some time, with over 35 years between us of experience working with wood both Marks and myself France have been busy over the last few months setting up the new state of the art sawmill and state of the art joinery shop, TimberCraft is now OPEN for business, we will start posting on our page regularly with what we are up to and what we are making, we have quite a few orders already so we will keep you up to date with our progress,
We offer a bespoke joinery service for both Interior and exterior, from tables to field shelters, from laminating and bending wood to hanging chairs, anything you want crafting or creating let us know,
We run a full sawmill service and are able to slab wood up to 7ft 6in in diameter
