Pressure of flood water in the water chamber then presses the Chamber Gasket firmly against the door leaf in order to maintain what has proved to be an extremely effective flood seal under test conditions exceeding the industry standard PAS1188-1:2014 by some considerable margin by maintaining zero leakage at 600 mm of water for periods in excess of 24 hours. Back on site and putting our flood-resistant doors to the test 💧

Following a recent maintenance visit, we returned to this customer’s property to carry out further testing on two of our installed doors. Using a controlled tank fill, we’re able to simulate real flood conditions and demonstrate just how effective these systems are.

The results speak for themselves - flood resistant from the outside, dry and secure on the inside.
