A moment to remember!✨

This Monday, Ian Wells proudly attended King Charles III’s visit to Butlers Farmhouse Cheeses, where His Majesty officially opened this fourth generation Lancashire family cheese makers state of the art new factory.

The passion, the vision, the resilience, and determination of this Lancashire family and team of cheese makers are truly inspiring. After a devastating fire at their previous factory, they’ve not only rebuilt but are pushing Butlers Farmhouse Cheeses into the modern era, stronger than ever.


Working alongside many other local Lancashire businesses, Ian Wells and his team were introduced to the project by .construction to support in many areas of the joinery including the honour of crafting the Oak cheese mounted on a cheese board which was presented to His Majesty as a gift.

We’re reluctantly parting with our much-loved shepherd’s hut as we’ve outgrown it. This is an authentic, refurbished original hut full of character, originally purchased in 2010 from Yorkshire. Restored with care, it still sits proudly on its original wheels but has been updated with new oak features and modern comforts.
