Last day for Bell today. What an unreal grafter for his age.

In the three years he’s been with LJF Developments, he’s helped build six large houses, including the most recent at Windermere that I had the pleasure of sharing the line with him on, along with the hundreds of extensions and countless other projects we’ve completed together.

Hard work, loyalty and commitment like that deserve to be recognised, so we thought it was only right to reward him with a brick trophy 😄 something he’ll always have to remind him of his time at LJF.

One of our recent clients created a photo book documenting the transformation of their home, a gesture we’re incredibly grateful for and one that reflects the trust built throughout the project.

This renovation included the demolition of an existing conservatory, a complete re-roof on the existing roof, a relocated and fully renovated kitchen, the installation of a practical and modern shower-room and the creation of a bright, modern open-plan living space. 4 years today since Archie started with us. 🤝

He came in as a young lad, worked hard, developed his bricklaying skills, and is now taking those skills with him into the next chapter of his life as he heads to Australia in August. 🇦🇺🦘

It’s been a pleasure watching you grow over the last four years, both personally and professionally. Wishing you nothing but success on your new adventure. Good luck, mate – you’ll smash it. 🤝

Young Josh has just come down to meet myself, Jamie and Ian. We’ve run through everything with him, issued his uniform, and given him his contracts to sign.

Josh will be starting with us in early August and will begin his joinery apprenticeship in September.

We’re looking forward to having him on board and helping him develop throughout his apprenticeship.
