I’ve been back on the ‘Stonescaping’ recently.

This one’s a collaborative project with my good friend and man of exquisite taste .clare.garden.design

Peter designed the entire project and I have done my best to try and bring his ideas to fruition.

Including a stadium shaped York stone patio, a river of cobbles flowing from one side of the garden to the other, curved reclaimed brick retaining wall, 3 sets of stairs, circular lawn area & a water feature, it’s fair to say that this has been a technical build encompassing many different elements of masonry.

The end result is close and it’s fair to say I’m rather fond of it 😍😍

Finished up in Marple today.

The original wall was built poorly and was too narrow to retain the earth behind it.

The wall was taken down & rebuilt properly, with extra width to help retain the patio above.

Thanks to for the lovely reclaimed walling stone.

This job has been a pleasure to work on, combining elements of Drystone Walling, Yorkstone Paving and Masonry to achieve an aesthetic that’s both Traditional & Clean 👌🏼👌🏼
