🚿🔥 WHAT A TRANSFORMATION! ANOTHER ONE WE’RE INCREDIBLY PROUD TO PUT OUR NAME TO! 🔥🚿
Well, what a difference two and a half weeks can make! 👏
We’ve been working hard on this bathroom transformation, and this one has involved a lot more than simply fitting a new shower!
The aim was to create a much bigger, more accessible and comfortable showering space, while delivering a beautiful, high-quality finish. And we’re absolutely delighted with how it’s turned out! 😍
🔨 SO WHAT HAVE WE DONE?
✅ Removed the old cold water storage tanks from the roof space.
✅ Removed the existing hot water cylinder from the airing cupboard.
✅ Installed a brand-new Megaflo unvented hot water cylinder up in the loft, complete with new pipework and insulation.
✅ Removed and repositioned an internal wall, reclaiming the old airing cupboard to make the bathroom considerably bigger.
✅ Completely redesigned the shower area to create a spacious, modern walk-in shower.
✅ Installed stunning large-format stone-effect wall tiles throughout the new shower area.
✅ Built a bespoke shower seat, finished with a beautiful stone top made by providing somewhere comfortable and practical to sit.
✅ Installed a digital shower system, complete with rainfall shower head and separate handset, with the digital control equipment neatly installed in the roof space.
✅ Installed non slip/low profile shower tray and comfort hight WC with infrared-operated flushing system to make everything more convenient and easier to use.
✅ Finished the room with modern lighting, quality fittings and plenty of attention to detail.
💙 BUILT WITH ACCESSIBILITY IN MIND
This project was all about making everyday life that little bit easier.
By completely rethinking the layout and making use of the old airing cupboard, we’ve managed to create a much more spacious showering area, with practical features that will make a real difference.
And the best part? We’ve achieved all of that without compromising on the look of the finished bathroom. 👌
🔧 IT’S NOT JUST WHAT YOU SEE…
A huge amount of work has gone into this project behind the scenes, from relocating the hot water system to the loft, to altering walls, rerouting plumbing and installing the digital shower equipment.
It’s these parts of the job that people don’t always see, but they’re every bit as important as the beautiful finish!
We’re pretty much finished and right on schedule, with just a few final touches, some additional pipe lagging and the grab rails to fit before we officially wrap things up.
💪 OUR WORK. OUR CRAFTSMANSHIP. OUR NAME.
There’s something really satisfying about standing back at the end of a project like this and seeing what we’ve achieved.
From the initial strip-out and alterations right through to the final details, this is a transformation we’re genuinely proud to call our own.
And we think the before and after photos speak for themselves! 📸🔥
🦆 AND OF COURSE…
No Stocker & Sons bathroom would be complete without our little quality-control inspector making an appearance!
He’s already claimed his spot on the new stone shower seat! 😂🦆
