Borehole repairs carried out today by Chris and Joe in Cowling, North Yorkshire.

The steel rising main had holes in the pipe so was replaced with MDPE pipe to stop future corrosion. The borehole pump performance and cable were tested and could be reused.

You’ve got to be well covered up or you end up looking like you’ve had a spray tan. A borehole pump changed today in Oakworth, Keighley.

A failed borehole pump replaced today at a dairy farm in Garstang, Lancashire.

The steel rising main had holes in the pipe which caused the pump to cycle on and off. A Grundfos constant pressure pump system was installed. The pump was installed on MDPE plastic pipe rather than steel so no corrosion and making any future repairs much easier and quicker.

Filtration upgrades carried out today in Diggle, Saddleworth.

The homeowner had a system installed by another company a few months ago but it did not address the organic colour in the water and also required frequent cartridge filter changes. The treated water still failed on colour and bacteria.

Springbore carried out a UKAS accredited analysis of the water from source to fully understand the contaminant levels. This allows the correct filtration system to be designed and installed.

Private Water Supply filtration upgrades carried out by Chris and Joe today in Colden, Calderdale.

The homeowner was not happy with the discoloured water and poor water flow and pressure from the system installed by others. A much quieter variable speed pump has been installed and backwashing filtration to deal with the sediment and tannins in the water from source.
