After the Bell Rings, Who Is There?
Cleopatra’s Legacy CIC

Ten volunteers will be completing a 15,000ft skydive to raise £15,000 in support of our work across Medway and the surrounding areas.
Not for adrenaline. Not for attention.

But this is not just a fundraiser. It is a direct response to something we are seeing every single week.
But because too many women finish cancer treatment and go home to silence.

“An 82-year-old woman sat with us for 45 minutes after her wig fitting. Her treatment had ended. The appointments stopped. Her diary was empty.

And what remained was loneliness.
After treatment, individuals often feel:
The visitors fade.
• Lost routine
• Loss of identity
• Body unfamiliarity
• Social isolation
• Fear of recurrence
• Survivor’s guilt
The questions keep coming?
• “Who am I now?”
• “My body is different.”
• “Everyone thinks I’m fine.”
• “Why do I feel alone?”

We want to change that by offering!
The “After the Bell” Confidence Kit
A bridge between hospital care and community belonging.
“You are not discharged from care. You are transitioning into community.”
It includes:
• A handwritten welcome card
• A Tea & Talk voucher (2 visits included)
• A complimentary coffee and cake invitation
• A small fresh flower stem or seed packet (symbol of regrowth)
• A journal titled “My Next Chapter”
• Information about monthly peer circles

£75 funds one full Confidence Kit
£25 helps provide safe community space
£15 says, “You are not alone.”

We need to create the space for these individuals to feel supported, cared for and heard.
Many helped us to get to this point.

Small plant room refurbishment completed ✅

We’ve stripped out the old equipment and delivered a clean, efficient, and neatly piped installation including new boiler plant, pressurisation unit, expansion vessel, and upgraded pipework throughout.

Compact space, maximum performance. 👌
All pipework installed and finished to the highest standard.

Great evening at BNI Green Club!

Always refreshing to finish the day surrounded by driven, supportive professionals who are all committed to helping each other grow. Today’s meeting was full of strong referrals, valuable conversations, and a reminder of the power of consistent networking.

A big thank you to the leadership team and all the members who make these sessions so worthwhile.

The new office is officially up and running! Time to get stuck into new tenders and finalise paperwork for our active projects. Exciting times ahead as we continue to grow and push forward. 📝

Exciting progress — our new office is nearly ready! 🎉

We’re down to the final touches now, with just the painting to complete before we move in, bring in the new furniture, and add those finishing details that make it feel like home.

We can’t wait to share the finished space with you all!

✅ Another project successfully completed in Medway!
The team were tasked with supporting and re-plying an existing suspended floor throughout a large kitchen, dining room and utility space. Once reinforced, brand-new underfloor heating was expertly installed across the entire area.

To finish, the team latexed a total of 64m², using over two tonnes of material to create a perfectly smooth, level surface ready for the final flooring.

A nice little update from one of our ongoing projects in London. This project is a full refurbishment of 3 communal toilets, 2 kitchen sinks, a new Category 5 Breaktank for some BIB taps and a new 300 litre megaflo to provide sufficient hot water throughout the property!
