Completion on our project in Reading , Berkshire . A beautiful part thatch and re-ridge on the public house and restaurant The Cunning Man for Mitchell and Butler . Turkish reed water reed with an ornater reverse crown block ridge to weather the top fixing . Carried out by Mitchell and Josh .

Completion in Frogham , Dover Kent . Some awkward areas testing Ross’s flexibility. Water reed coat work with a combed wheat reed ornate v round block ridge weathering the top fixing . Full photos to follow once the scaffolding has been struck .

With completion on our Reading project and our Frogham project , we are all together on our next 3 projects in Surrey ,Sussex and starting here on our latest water reed project in Barfreston , Dover , Kent . A beautiful shaped roof with sweeping windows on the front elevation , finished with an ornate block ridge consisting of 3 chimney clover leafs with continuous rounds .

Our FDYFL U16 squad are back in action this Saturday as they take on Dawes Hernehill Herons U16’s in Division 1 of the Faversham & District Youth Football League.

Nearing the completion of our project in Saint Nicholas, then we join the team on our project in Frogham . Very proud of our team and very proud of Josh on this project as he is building his laying confidence on windows , he’s doing extremely well and moving forward in his apprenticeship .

We commence works on this beautiful cottage in Frogham , Dover ,Kent this week . There are 5 thatched dwellings on the estate , which we have thatched and maintained for many of years . This water reed project was last thatched by Bill Hobbs in the 80’s
