✨ Who says replacing misted glass has to be like-for-like?

This customer had multiple blown sealed units throughout the front of their property. Rather than simply replacing the failed glass, they took the opportunity to give their home a subtle refresh.

We replaced all of the misted units with A+ Rated energy-efficient glass and updated the fanlights, swapping the original leaded rose design for a much cleaner diamond bevel.

The result?

✨ All while keeping the character of the property

💥 Broken a window? Don't panic... it happens!

This customer's sealed unit was unfortunately smashed while mowing the lawn. 🚜💥

The good news? We measured up, manufactured a replacement and had the new sealed unit fitted with a quick turnaround, leaving another happy customer.

💡 A little tip that could save you money...

If your double-glazed unit is only broken on one side, there's usually no need to pay for emergency boarding.

As long as the inner pane is still intact, you can carefully tape the broken outer glass to hold it in place. Even if the broken pane falls out, the inside pane is still there, meaning it's effectively no different to having single glazing while you wait for your replacement sealed unit.

⚠️ Please note: This advice is only suitable if the inner pane remains intact, the window can be left secure, and there are no sharp edges that could cause injury. If you're unsure, give us a call and we'll happily advise.

We recently completed a full sealed unit upgrade to the front of this beautiful property with timber swept head windows.

The existing square leaded glass had started to look dated and was blocking a surprising amount of natural light. Rather than replacing the timber windows, we replaced the sealed units with clear A+ Rated energy-efficient glass.

To keep the character of the property, we hand-picked a coloured lead design for the fanlights, carefully matching the original colour scheme and the traditional leaded glass in the front door.

Hi folks, it's been a while ! Apologies for the 'radio silence' last few weeks, we've been snowed under work wise and as is often the case social media takes a back seat ! We're still out making lots of homes warmer and safer, if you're finding your doors are sticking a bit now the weather has finally started to brighten up, or you've noticed the condensation between your glass units now it's sunny enough to see them give us a shout.
