Why Purple Parrot Window Cleaning?
It’s a question people often ask — and the answer goes right back to when the business was just an idea.
Someone gave me a very good piece of advice: choose a name that makes an impact.
When your van is stopped at traffic lights, you may have only 12 seconds to catch someone’s attention. The name needs to remind them that they need a window cleaner — and, more importantly, stay in their head until they get home and search for you.
So, while having that conversation, I looked around the living room and spotted an old toy box from when my son was little.
On it was a picture, a Purple Parrot.

And just like that, the idea was born — and Purple Parrot took flight. 🦜
