Looking a bit like something from a horror film, I snuck this Amorphophallus into a rose bed a few years ago, curious to see what would come of it. The 50cm flower (?) appears for just a week or so in June before retreating back into the soil.

A pair of nice level lawns created from a sloped garden. New softwood sleepers and gabion baskets for the top corner as well as Indian sandstone steps and stepping stones.
Additionally, to give a bit more privacy we've added these pleached photinia to give an instant screening.

Nice to get this one polished off for the long weekend.
Porcelain paving and a composite deck have transformed this space ready for a summer of entertainment. The raised beds are constructed with treated softwood sleepers and steel 'H' beams for a long lasting and seamless finish.
The new is made from chunky 6x2 inch framework to support this huge established .

Nice end to the week getting the fleet cleaned off and ready for another week of hard graft.

Managed to get back to a large project we finished off in the Autumn.
A substantial new paved area using Kandala Grey sandstone, a seeded lawn, new brick retaining wall, low sandstone walling and reclaimed block paving paths. All tied in nicely with black basalt aggregate.

Really happy with the understated class of the material choices that perfectly compliment the surroundings.

Really happy with the way this came out. It was our first time using the Romeli paving, a unique product as it offers a texture and rippled edges that give it a 'hand cut' appearance.

Add to all that the craftsmanship that went into the tree circle and new trellis and you've got yourself a stunning yet understated steating area that will last for many decades to come.

Here's a winter warmer for you... imagine sliding into that on a cold winter's evening. Heavenly. Pass the bubbly 🍾

This is a millboard deck in Burnt Cedar with a swish glass balustrade. The design was for 2 overlapping square decks for this slightly shaded side of the garden. It's a big bit of decking, but it fits really neatly in proportion in this big country garden.
