⚡ Bollard Lighting Upgrade Completed in Beech Hill, Reading ⚡

Our BS Electrical engineers have been in Beech Hill, Reading replacing failed bollard lighting after the existing units had been suffering from severe water ingress, causing constant nuisance tripping and unreliable operation.

The residents who own this private road have unfortunately had nothing but trouble with these lights over the years, with water entering the fittings and repeatedly causing failures — something that’s especially dangerous on such a dark roadway during the evenings.

To resolve the issue properly, we installed brand-new high-powered LED bollard lights to provide maximum brightness, improved reliability and a much safer environment for residents and visitors 🌙💡

Today our BS Electrical engineers have been in Aldermaston, Reading upgrading the electrical supply to a customer’s hot tub after the existing isolator switch had failed.

The previous installers had advised that the hot tub was suitable to run from a switched fused connection unit, however this setup was restricting performance and wasn’t allowing the system to operate at its full capability.

To provide the correct solution, our engineers installed a brand-new dedicated 40 amp supply, ensuring the hot tub can now run at full power all year round — delivering the performance, reliability and efficiency the customer should have had from the start.

💡 Halogen to LED Lighting Upgrade Completed 💡

Our BS Electrical engineers have been busy upgrading old halogen downlights to brand-new Aurora LED fire-rated, IP-rated downlights — bringing this property up to modern standards with safer, more efficient lighting ⚡

These new fittings are fully switchable between Warm White, Cool White and Daylight, giving the client complete flexibility to create the perfect lighting for each room.

These upgrades aren’t always the cleanest of jobs, as years of heat from old halogen fittings can leave ceilings brittle and fragile when removing the original lights.

While carrying out the installation, our engineer also spotted that the two downlights within the shower area had not been correctly aligned. After carefully repositioning them, they are now perfectly symmetrical and professionally spaced, ready for making good and final finishing.
