Top Drawer Organisation ❤️ 🔥
My Daughter was filling the drawers up last night and much like Monica from Friends she likes organising and I seen her frustration of socks and underwear not going in nearly 😂
I promptly said would you like me to make a divider for the drawer and she jumped at it.
So, this mornings job was to do just that and I actually already had the perfect pieces of Ash already machined up from a previous round of milling.

Desk and Drawers.
Another round of Furniture designed and built for my Daughters bedroom. All built from Ash, Dovetail drawer boxes built from BirchPly. Lamp built from a piece of Walnut that had a big knot in that had not much use other than this with and ash centre piece for the cord to go through.
Next is a Wardrode once I get more free time.

It’s been a while so time to get stuck back in.
My Daughter is growing and along with that better bedroom furniture is needed. This year I built her a new Small Double Ash bed frame.
I choose Ash as generally furniture that’s bought is always Oak and I really like how light Ash is. I built this bed back in Jan/ Feb and the rest of the furniture has been on hold until now as she needs a new desk for secondary school.
Incoming over the next few weeks will be a Desk and a set of Drawers and I can’t wait to get stuck in with them to give her, the grown up furniture she deserves.
The Curtain rail was a quick design that came out really well and hung with fixings.

You can’t always win on all aspects and the trap on the tray landed on a joist so I couldn’t get the tray flat on the floor.
Tiles from Bal Flex sone Adhesive grout and silicone used along with .uk WPC Tanking kit. Digital shower.
Room turned out beautiful.

Very happy with how these came out in the end I’d love to keep them for myself but I can’t keep everything!
Walnut lamp with Purpleheart centre piece. Lampshade to match the purple heart! Black chrome hardware with cloth cable.
Oak lamp with a Natural shade and cable and brass hardware.
Cable and hardware supplied from .uk oiled in poly oil.

Almost there! Bulb holder designed/built and now fitted.

Lamp update!
So, after trying to glue up the lamp with a very small glue face I found it very difficult, looking at it and being able to repeat the glue up easily is what I’d prefer.
I’ve now changed the design and now incorporated dovetails. This will just slide together and make it much simpler.
Walnut lamp with Purple Heart dovetail centre. Oak lamp will has an Oak centre piece.
