This customer kept getting the breakdown code F23 on his Vaillant boiler. The cause, a blocked connection on his hot water cylinder due to a build up of iron oxide in the heating circuit.

Replace 3 radiators with new ones, two new ones being column radiators and one a convector and also change pipework to suit new radiators.

Unsightly Radiator pipes coming down your wall? 2 customers this week asked for their radiator pipes to be hidden in the wall and the pipes for the radiators emerging from behind the skirting. The finished job in the photos show the pipes covered in insulation neatly tucked into a channel cut in the wall and run behind the skirting. All that's needed now is some plastering and those unsightly pipes are gone!

This customer had been collecting brown water drips from below this boiler for "A While". The fault, a cracked condensate pipe inside the boiler. What would have been an easy fix on an annual service has now required additional work to solve the issue. With winter approaching, make sure your servicing is up to date, your boiler may look clean on the outside but inside might be a different story.

A new radiator installed with concealed pipework so a fitted cupboard could be built in place of the old one. This customer did have 26 radiators to bleed afterwards though😧

The performance of the hot water tap at this property had been diminishing for a while now. A build up of scale in the pipe coming from the hot water tank was at fault. If your hot water system performance is poor then call spitfire gas to help out.

Following an extension that was built onto this property, today's job was to re-route the Flue to make sure it was safe and the intake and exhaust were in the same pressure zone outside!

Make sure your annual servicing is up to date. Your boiler may look clean on the outside but as today's servicing shows, you don't know what's going on inside! The sediment at the bottom of the boiler meant the removal of the heat exchanger to investigate further. The cause...... a cracked Flue Adaptor which was leaking products of combustion.
