Another project was successfully completed this week. A client enlisted our services to install an additional cooker circuit as part of a new kitchen project. During the initial assessment, we identified several concerns, including the challenging location of the consumer unit, absence of RCD protection, lack of surge protection, and, most critically, the risk of overheating and fire posed by the existing consumer unit. Our recommendation prioritizes the installation of a new consumer unit to address these concerns comprehensively. Effectively we have completed installation of the new circuit and consumer unit following testing and certification with building control notification.

This week, we completed the installation of an Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) system, which included installing an external consumer unit, neatly running the cable through the attached garage, and setting up the Ohme Home Pro 2. The entire process, including supply, fitting, and commissioning, was done in compliance with building control regulations and approved by the Distribution Network Operator (DNO).

I have always enjoyed repairing things and am readily available for work. I think that my communication skills and outgoing personality add to my skills as an electrician to make me a perfect tradesman for your needs. As I progressed with my home maintenance career I've decided to qualify as a fully qualified electrician. Having electrotechnical knowledge from my early years of polytechnic studies it was only the matter of time to get even more satisfied clients.

While doing repair work for friends and family for the past ten years, I have started receiving referrals and establishing a client base. I have experience with relocating properties, can do majority of house maintenance including all aspects of electrical work - lights, switches and sockets replacements to consumer unit replacements and house rewiring as well as periodic inspections. Dangerous fault on a MCB this week. Despite the breaker being in OFF position it would not disconnect and not provide protection against an overload! It was discovered by following safe isolation procedure. The breaker was replaced with a new fully functional one protecting the cables against overheating and allowing the circuit to be isolated safely.
Always use fully qualified electrician for your safety!
