Another contractor made a pigs ear of this job and left the customer in a pickle.

Having been burnt once the customer was obviously wary and was cautious but today she was over the moon with her new patio and has praised the whole team. Well done lads.

We even put right some dodgy sleeper steps that was falling over after only being done approximately 6 months ago.

Today we started a job in Redditch that was started by another contractor, they were doing a pretty poor quality bad job before the job was stopped by the customer.

Sleeper steps falling away being held up by 2 small bits of timber.

A patio that's had approx 3" of sand in preparation for laying natural stone directly onto the sand. The sand is already at the finished patio height and is level with the current manhole.

I'm unsure how these cowboys thought they were going to get the patio to the 150mm below damp finished height when the sand was already up to that height.

Luckily the customer realised something was wrong and stopped the job. We was called in to review the work, advise and fix the problem.

We're now on track to have a new porcelain patio laid soon.

This is just another reason why you should really look hard into the company you choose to do the work in your gardens.

luckily for this customer she realised before it was too late and called us to fix the problem.
