We are expanding our fleet and looking for a HGV Class 1 driver (C+E) to join our team.

The job will entail a mixture of bulk tipper, flat trailers and step frame work transporting various equipment.

This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday as and when required. Based from our yard in Astwood Bank, there will be the occasional night out but mainly returning back most days.

- Experience with the above work would be beneficial but training can be provided.
- FORS E Learning modules would be beneficial but not essential.
- C+E licence, CPC, Digi card all required along with a strong knowledge of tachograph hours.

Competitive hourly rate offered depending on experience.

It’s fantastic to see the official launch of Wainwright’s new operation at Marchwood, a significant investment that will strengthen the supply of aggregates and construction materials across the South region.

SE Davis are proud to play a role in this project through the successful installation of one of our largest washplants that helps underpin this important new facility.

We have welcomed two new additional trailers to the fleet for 2026.
They are already hard at work and are proving to be fantastic additions. Coupled with gaining our FORS Gold accreditation it’s been an exciting and busy start to the year for the team.

Our charity Christmas tree light installations continue this week at the Laxford House Christmas tree in Inkberrow.
We have been decorating this tree for 21 years now, and this is the first year doing it without our good friend Chris who sadly passed away earlier this year. Together, Chris and Avril Rowlands have raised thousands of pounds for good causes by lighting this tree every Christmas for local people to enjoy.
This year S E Davis have sponsored the tree by donating 72 sets of energy efficient LED festive lights.
The big switch on is going to be held on Saturday 6th December at 6pm, and proceeds raised throughout the Christmas period this year will be donated to the Lung and Asthma UK charity.
