The Rendering process,
First you start with priming the bricks with universal primer (EWI-310) what we call red grit.
Then we do a scratch coat to dub out any hollows and provide a good key for the next coat, we used Levelling Mortar (EWI-260) for this first pass.
Next we do the Mesh Bead work on edges and around doors and windows so we are able to have neat and tidy edges. Mesh Beads are bedded on with Premium Basecoat (EWI-225)
Mesh Coat is next, the Orange Fibreglass Mesh is everywhere on the rendered wall and has a 100mm overlap on each strip for strength. We use Premium Basecoat (EWI-225) to bed the mesh into the wall.
Next we prime the premium basecoat with
Top Coat Primer (EWI-333) tinted in the colour of the customers choice, in this case it was Steel 27408. We use the primer because it aids adhesion between the Top coat render and the basecoat.
Finally it’s the Silicone Render (EWI-075) tinted in Steel 27408, we spray apply our silicone render as don’t get the scars and miss colouration as you sometimes get with the padded silicone finish.
