Modulating Heating Controls💚
We installed a Tado smart room thermostat with a Glow Worm Energy.
After importing the EU version in from Holland (where unlike the UK, modulating controls are a legal requirement), we successfully programmed the two together using the Vaillant EBUS code setting.
Our customer works variable hours and alternates being away for days at a time, so load compensating controls was a preference for rapid heat up. You can see the demand flow temperature fluctuate and reduce as the property nears its target temperature.
This reduces energy bills, wear and tear on the appliance and system, as well as gives a more comfortable environment.
You can see the difference between the UK and EU versions, it’s a shame that licensing prevents capable controls of delivering good efficiency.
