We have recently installed a new white Zappi for a client prior to the arrival of their new EV

Located on the side of the garage to keep it accessible to most positions on the charge point on the vehicle, this unit was a dream to install

One of our many jobs this week included more remedial works following our recently completed EICR at this beautiful old property in Camborne.

We have now replaced the existing external lights along the side of the property, using a black conduit containment system.

Scaffolding used for easy access and safe working conditions for the team.

We recently headed over to Porthleven and completed another consumer unit replacement.

The new unit now has surge protection and RCBO protective devices for each circuit. We have allowed enough spare ways for future plans as well.

Whilst there we also added a new circuit for an under sink water heater that'll be added soon as well.

Another good job completed.

Project - Consumer unit update

We have headed back across to Camborne and replaced the existing domestic consumer unit for a client.

Out with re-wireable fuses and plug in MCB's, in with RCBO's and Surge protection.

Project - EV charger installation

We have fitted another myenergi zappi electric vehicle charger 😍 these units can be single phase 7kW or three phase 22kW. This domestic property is a 7kW install, ready for delivery of an electric vehicle

This newish build house had a cable installed during the build for the charger, although not the EV ultra we use. There wasn't a data cable installed for the CT connection, but the zappi will connect via a wireless CT instead

We have also installed eufy products at the address, have a video doorbell and light added to the front of the property for security and peace of mind.

Project - heating upgrade

Last Friday we headed over to Camborne where we upgraded the heating to a bungalow. The existing old and defective night storage heaters were removed and disposed of in a skip from Nick Ferris.

We then installed the new design of Rointe UK kyros heaters. The new designs are smaller in size which is great when space is tight, and the welcome addition of the handle on the boxes allows easier movement. Shame they have removed the Fisher rawl plugs but we carry a selection of these anyway. Easy to set up, although the keypads are a little temperamental when setting the clock

Another happy client with heating whenever they wish to use it, or have family around.

Friday's job - go around and sort out someone else's errors ....

One of our clients has had a kitchen refitted and was told that they would sort everything for her. Then towards the end informed her they wouldn't be able to sign anything off and she'd need to sort that.

We attended on Friday and ended up spending all day sorting issues. There wasn't a single thing we didn't have to correct.

Makes our blood boil....
