As carpenters working with some lovely hardwoods, we hate to see any kind of waste. The top quality Oak and Walnut which we use in our shepherds huts (Kessell Shepherds Huts) gives us offcuts which we have repurposed into this fantastic range of solid hardwood chopping boards. The boards have been treated with an organic food-grade oil. Price is for collection from Redruth, but local delivery can be arranged. All boards are 4cm thick.

Another one finished! With a nod towards a GWR carriage, this one is beautifully positioned in a nestled place with the most amazing views. The hut come with a stunning oak stable door and a wall of oak windows looking out onto the view. Inside, there is a kitchenette complete with an Everhot stove, a large sofa extending to king-size bed and a dining area with oak table and storage benches which can serve as single beds. We’ve been a bit quiet on the Facebook front… because we’ve been working hard to get this one finished before a very special event! Nearly there now… just a few finishing touches so should be all done at some point next week! Loving the light in this one… and the stunning views! 🪚🔨🐑🐏🛖

Door install day… well half a door! Lovely to be working with Oak! Electrics all in yesterday and it’s really coming together now… watch this space!
