Natural Land Management & Conservation Grazing
Do you have a paddock, orchard, or wildflower meadow that’s becoming a challenge to maintain?
I am looking for additional grazing sites in Surrey, Sussex, and Kent for my small flock of Shetland sheep. Rather than just "feeding sheep," I focus on conservation grazing using this hardy, primitive breed to actively improve the health and biodiversity of your land.
Why choose my Shetlands over a tractor?
• Enhance Biodiversity: They selectively graze, allowing wildflowers to thrive while keeping dominant grasses and scrub in check.
• Light Footprint: Perfect for sensitive ground, steep banks, or orchards where heavy machinery would cause soil compaction or bark damage.
• Natural Fertilisation: They return nutrients to the soil slowly and naturally.
• Regenerative Approach: I manage the flock to ensure the sward is improved, never overgrazed.
Total Peace of Mind:
• ✅ Fully Insured: Public liability covered.
• ✅ Self-Contained: I provide my own electric fencing and check the flock daily.
