Happy to have completed a 1.5million metre indoor rowing challenge, which I have now completed. I managed to riase £2,230 for Demntia UK and £1,685 for Fund4trees. Thanks very much indeed to all those who kindly donated and gave me support.
The websites for the charities are still open if anyone feels like donating but I will be closing these at the end of the month (May).

I found this very rare example of completely white leaves borne on shoots from the trunk of a very green Beech tree. I am pretty sure of the biology of this phenomenon but does anyone else have any thoughts. Share it with your gardening and arborist friends to see what they say? Interesting.

Noted some tree work going on across the road from me today - extraordinary misunderstanding of the current situation - one mistake and either no access to A & E and bleed to death or force doctors and nurses away from where help is needed most! Tree work is not essential. Pack it in.
